Email and text updates.

Signup requires your first name, last name, email address, and agreement to receive ABLE stories, news, and ways to get involved by email. Organization and mobile number are optional. If you add a mobile number, you must separately agree to receive future ABLE text updates at that number.

Our website sends your signup details to Mailchimp to process your email subscription. If you choose future texts, ABLE also saves your number, consent choice, and the time of that choice in its Wix contact records. Mailchimp may ask you to confirm your email or complete a security check. You can unsubscribe through an ABLE email, or contact us to change your text preference. Giving.

The donation form on this website is provided by Zeffy. Information entered there is processed by Zeffy and its payment providers, even though the form appears within our page. ABLE receives donor and gift information to administer donations and respond to giving questions. ABLE’s website code does not receive your full card details.

Website, films, and preferences.

Wix hosts the website and delivers some of its photos and videos. Hosting and media services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and requested pages or files to deliver and protect their services. Read Wix’s privacy policy.

YouTube thumbnails connect to YouTube’s image service. Selecting a YouTube recording loads a privacy-enhanced embedded player, which is still a third-party service. Google’s privacy policy covers YouTube. Other films play from ABLE’s website or Wix media hosting.

The website saves a timestamp in your browser when you dismiss the signup invitation or finish signing up. It uses this preference to avoid showing the invitation again for seven days. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage. Embedded services may use their own cookies and storage; your browser’s privacy controls can affect whether those services work.

You can also write to The ABLE Foundation, 120 Waterfront Street, Suite 420, National Harbor, MD 20745. This is a mailing address, not a walk-in office.

Please identify the service or request involved without sending passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive personal documents. Some records may need to be retained for financial or legal obligations. Information held independently by a service provider may also require a request to that provider.

Email links open your email application. Your message is sent only when you choose to send it. We use those messages to respond to your inquiry. Updates to this notice will appear here with a revised date.
